The sole business of the firm is investment consulting. LAC derives 100% of its revenue from client retainer fees and client project engagements. Consulting is our only line of business. We do not have a parent company or any underlying subsidiaries or sister companies. We (nor any parent or affiliate) have no brokerage affiliation.
We firmly believe this is the optimal business structure in the consulting industry in that it aligns our interests solely with our clients. Below are key considerations regarding consultant objectivity in todays marketplace:
We do not have an affiliated brokerage firm
We have no financial relationships with money managers for 'institutes', 'conferences', 'outings', or "performance charts".
We do not sell ancillary products or services to money managers
We do not charge database fees to money managers
We are independently owned and operated
