William G. Lowery, President and CEO

Mr. Lowery is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lowery Asset Consulting LLC.  His primary responsibilities include manager research and due diligence, tactical and strategic asset allocation research, providing consulting services to institutional and family trust clients, and is a member of the firm’s investment committee.  He is well known in the institutional consultant community with 20 years of experience in research and consulting.  Not only has he interviewed over 6000 investment firms in his twenty year career, but he remains active in this critical process today. He has been quoted in such major publications as Business Week, Chicago Tribune, Pensions and Investments, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, IBD, et al.  He is a graduate and academic scholarship winner at the University of Missouri and attended DePaul University for graduate studies.


Phillip J. Kosmala, CFA

Mr. Kosmala is an Executive Vice President and Director of Manager Research at Lowery Asset Consulting, LLC.  His primary responsibilities include manager research, tactical asset allocation research, and providing consulting services to the firm’s institutional and family trust clients.  Phil also chairs the firm’s investment committee and directs the manager research efforts for the firm.  Phil worked previously as the Manager of Investment Research and chaired the investment committee at DiMeo Schneider & Associates, LLC in Chicago where they advised $14 billion dollars in institutional and family trust assets.  Additionally, Phil worked for six years as an examiner at the SEC leading comprehensive exams of investment advisors and mutual fund companies.  Phil holds a bachelors degree in finance from DePaul University, has been awarded the CFA designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute & CFA Society of Chicago.


Joseph D. Taiber, CFA

Mr. Taiber is an Executive Vice President and Director of Alternative Investment Research at Lowery Asset Consulting, LLC.  His primary responsibilities include manager research, tactical asset allocation research, and providing consulting services to the firm’s institutional and family trust clients.  Joe is also a member of the firm’s investment committee and directs the alternative investment research efforts for the firm.  Joe worked previously as a Senior Consultant and investment committee member at DiMeo Schneider & Associates, LLC in Chicago where they advised $14 billion dollars in institutional and family trust assets.  Joe holds a bachelors degree in finance from the University of Iowa, has been awarded the CFA designation, and is a member of the CFA Institute & CFA Society of Chicago.
